Nilsen was contracted by Watpac to carry out the complete electrical installation for the Bankstown Library and Knowledge Centre. The project includes the adaptive reuse of a portion of existing Bankstown Town Hall and the construction of a new four storey library and knowledge centre with one basement & three multi-function levels to create an integrated library and cultural centre.
New electrical services include Main Switchboards, Power Factor Units, Distribution Switchboards, Supply Authority Metering, Power Reticulation and general purpose power, UPS, Internal and External Lighting, Emergency and Exit Lighting, Lighting Control Systems, Backbone voice communication systems, Security Access Control System and intruder detection, Security CCTV Surveillance System, Solar Voltaic System, Hearing Loop Augmentation.
