This major announcement came on the eve of Westfield North Lakes unveiling its Fresh Food marketplace and dining area which Nilsen also completed for the retail giant. Nilsen QLD were awarded the Developed Design & Construction of the Low Voltage Electrical and Lighting Systems portion of the Link Mall works late last year with preliminary works commencing on site last month. The new Link Mall will feature over 60 stores including various Mini Majors as well as Specialities Tenancies. A Westfield spokeswoman has said the new section of the centre will have a “Queensland outdoors” feel about it.
Installation at the Link Mall site is set to commence early March 2016 with the basebuild complete by late September 2016.
