Perth Children’s Hospital has replaced Princess Margaret Hospital as Western Australia’s specialist pediatric hospital and trauma centre, providing medical care to children and adolescents up to 16 years of age.
The staged opening took place during May and June 2018, following 6 years of construction. The 298-bed hospital provides treatment for the most serious medical cases, as well as secondary services including inpatient, outpatient and day-stay care.
Nilsen provides a comprehensive range of maintenance services including LV switchgear testing, emergency lighting monitoring, thermographic scanning, lighting control, UPS maintenance, generator maintenance, PFC testing, RCD testing and switchboard inspections. In addition to the Planned Preventative Maintenance, we also handle all Reactive Maintenance. To manage this, Nilsen has permanent on-site staff, as well as providing 24/7 support for out of hours breakdowns.
In the provision of these services, Nilsen recognises the importance of working within an operating major tertiary hospital. Consequently, we ensure our service provision must not disrupt functions normally provided within the hospital.
These services are also performed with having the highest regard to patient care and safety. We take all necessary steps to ensure that the care and safety of all Hospital Users is not compromised.
