Brisbane City Council have not only urged Nilsen to apply for their next round of Supplier Panel applications but have also taken other subcontractors to the site to show them Nilsen’s installation as the benchmark for future projects. Touted a self-managing contractor by Scentre Group, feedback from the client also focused on Nilsen’s collaborative attitude and technical proficiency, particularly in regards to the mall and library entry design requirements.

The project was successfully handed over in September 2018. It is also nominated for the 2019 National Electrical & Communications Association (NECA) Queensland Award for Best Commercial Small project.
