Nilsen were chosen carry out for the electrical installation and an extensive range of specialist low voltage services. This award winning facility was funded by the State Government and was built to showcase the rich maritime history of Western Australia.

The Museum houses several unique galleries that explore WA’s relationship with the sea. From leisure boats and handcrafted sailing boats to commercial pearl luggers, the Museum inspires visitors to discover WA’s affinity with the ocean. It is home to the winning America’s Cup yacht, Australia II, an Oberon class submarine — HMAS Ovens*, Jon Sanders’ Parry Endeavour and many other iconic vessels from WA’s maritime history.

Works included HV Switchgear and cabling, HV/MV Transformer, Major & Minor LV Distribution Boards and Submains, General Lighting and Power, Communication Systems, Fire Detection System, Specialised Display Lighting etc.
